Why Come to us?
Whilst incorporating the fasting programme designed by Dr Richard Anderson, our detox offers a unique opportunity not found in any other centre. People who have sampled other programmes and then returned to us do so because they recognise the value, to themselves, in our programme.
You will find many opportunities (whether sitting in the parlour by the aga sharing stories, or catching a 5 minute chat with us on your way to bed, or in our daily group process sessions) to feel held, nurtured, seen and heard.
The environment we create is one of spaciousness and intimacy. Of self-reflection and teamwork, of love and support which continues long after your stay with us.
It is often the moments outside of the scheduled programme where you will meet with profound life-changing insights into your own process and have the opportunity to be counselled into integrating these changes into your life.
As we have shared previously, this detox offers the uniqueness of the Ayurvedic, energy psychology alongside Bhuddist Psychotherapy. From this detox you will have a deep understanding of how and why we are how we are.
Dianne offers training and experience in bodywork with the core energy system. i.e. with the five chakras and the subtle cranial system. She holds in the space, awareness of trauma and shock that may be present in a person's system and will only explore at a pace that is suitable, so as to not restimulate a persons system. |

She has completed post graduate courses in Cranial Sacral Therapy, Structural bodywork and Biosynthesis with David Boadella and attended workshops in Pre-perinatal Psychology (both in the UK and America) and Trauma resolution. Dianne taught Polarity Therapy for many years as well as facilitating group work.
She loves totally, and feels so very priveliged, to being a GRAND MOTHER to two wonderful girls, who show her how to be present in each moment to unconditional love.
She is passionate about the psycho-emotional aspect of the five elements. Over the years practising as a Bhuddist-based psychotherapist and being a trainer in an Ayurvedic based bodywork, based on the five chakras, she has fused together these two principles. What has emerged for her is a body understanding of the energetic dance (energetic psychology) between mind and emotions, as experienced from the five chakras, that is easily explored and slowly unlocked.
Dianne feels that adding this to the detox programme, brings about a complete and lasting change.
Coaching
Anyone who is serious about getting the most out of their life uses the skills of a coach. Whether you are an athlete wanting to improve performance or a musician wanting to reach a greater level of expression, coaching provides on-going support and encouragement to achieve your goals.
Likewise, after completing a detox journey with us, you may find that you would like the ongoing support and use of coaching techniques to continue your life in a way that has you feeling healthy and fulfilled. After the “high” of the detox wears off, it can be easy to fall back into your old eating or emotional habits.
Dianne offers a unique coaching service to detoxers who wish to continue with the breakthroughs and intentions towards a life you choose, after you settle back into your home routine. Coaching is done on the telephone and you choose how often and for how long you would like the call to be. Prices by arrangement.
Val worked for many years with emotionally disturbed children and later trained as a Detached Rural Youth Worker with Devon County Council, where she established a scheme for working with young people in outlying villages of South Devon.
Val’s journey into psychotherapy and healing started with the growing awareness that many of the adults she worked with needed more help than the children they cared for. She realized that helping/healing the adults went a long way towards helping/healing the children.
After completing workshops in Transpersonal Psychology she underwent a four and a half year Buddhist-based psychotherapy training.
In 1997 she completed her training as a Polarity therapist, having a special interest in energetic relationships.

As well as bringing her experiences of working with extreme emotional disturbances, Val also incorporates her spiritual insights and knowledge of energetic relationships into her work.
Val loves to explore the subtle energy dynamics within each individual and the wider context of family and social relationships. Also practicing as a Psychotherapist and working with the NHS Childrens Mental Health Service, Val’s passion lies in bringing awareness to our energetic patterns (are you fiery in nature or earthy?) of behaviour. Creating understanding and empathy with an ability to bring non-judgemental, creative ways of being into each situation, she brings clarity and humour into her work.
